Leslie's shower

I can't beleive no one even took pictures during Leslies bridal shower! it was so fun though, we played games, ate food, talked, and opened presents.

I had a practice recital on saturday right after the shower. I think for my real one, i'll put my hair up. I look a little emo in this one. It went pretty well, i'm pretty happy about it. Wierd thing is, my piano teacher never even showed up. I don't know what happened.

Jenny is getting to be quite the hair stylist. She did Leslie's hair today, and it was pretty much cool.

Last night was the Jazz Dinner Dance. Way fun!! There were two jazz bands, a combo, and of course the jazz choir which i am in. There was food and dancing and wicked awsome music. I got to perform and Dance with my dad and some friends, and my parents went and danced. we didn't get any pictures, unfortunately, but you can just imagine how cool it was.

So i'm sure most of you know that Daniel and Leslie and getting married and we are having an open house in the backyard for them. So we've been working on getting it all pretty. Mom got these pansies to plant this week. aren't they cute?

Sarah got surgery on her toes this week for ingrown toenails. gross, huh? so she's been sitting and watching t.v. a lot. lucky her.

This is pretty much what sunday afternoon was like today. Its great that they want to increase their talents and everything, but in the same room it got a little crazy. Jenny is getting pretty good at flute. its hard to hear how amazing she is in this video. And summer wants to play trumpet in band next year so she's trying it out. enjoy . . . . .

for this post i'm just going to tell you all about my day yesterday. At around seven thirty, when I thought I was going to get to sleep in, I was woken up by dad saying that we had to be at the church to clean in twenty minutes. so I dragged myself out of bed and went to the church. I didn't stay the whole time because I had to go to work.
So while I was at work, me and a coworker/friend decided we wanted to make rootbeer. which i was super exited about. So when we got off, we went to the store and bought dry ice and root beer concentrate and went to his house and made root beer. wow, super fun and way easy. I though making rootbeer was way hard or something but it turns out all you do is mix a bunch of sugar, water, and rootbeer concentrate then dump some dry ice in there and let it bubble for a while until it gets carbonated! and then some other friends came over. And Dustin (thats the friend/coworker) has a bunch of shotglasses. So he and two other girls were doing rootbeer shots. And then we decided to make a dry ice bomb which was also super fun. anyway, we had lots of fun and thats my story :)

Oh, and by the way, Zak is staying at our house for a couple weeks so he can be closer to work, I think.

So i just got a ton of pictures from Faith. But they're not all in order. This one is when we went to salt lake and faith sang at her school graduation. i came along to watch and the choir was pretty good. it was fun to see what a graduation was like but it was looooong. we had fun, though.

ok, i think this one is from her mission reunion as well as the next two. i dont know any of the people, really, so you'll have to ask faith.

These two are from when we went to Idaho for Evan baby blessing. this is at the church after dinner, I think.

This one is from an Easter party Faith and I went to on Saturday. It was super fun, we played games and dyed eggs and met some new people. you can only see the backs of our heads in this picture but at least we're in it :)

Temple

Ok, i don't have pictures for this one. I just thought it would be cool to say something about me going to the temple every week. So I decided to start going to the temple every week on tuesdays and at first I just went by myself. but I got some friends to go too and they'ver started coming every week too. its been really great and we have felt the spirit a lot. i'm pretty sure tuesday is my favorite day now. and mondays are my second favorite cuz I always get exited in ancticipation for tuesday, its great!

Easter

These pictures are of the Easter hunt on saturday. cute, huh? We colored eggs on friday night. and then on saturday morning we got cereal and candy and lots of jelly beans all over the house. I wasn't there or the egg hunt because i had to go to work but it looks like it was lots of fun. On sunday we lots of family over for dinner. It was wonderful to be with all our family on the day that the atonement and resurrection made it possible for us to be with them forever.

Conference weekend

Alrighty, so just so you know, there are way too many pictures on this one but they are all so good! i even deleted a few and didn't even put some on here. but conference weekend was awsome! almost the whole family was here if not all at once we pretty much saw everyone that was able to come at some point. it was not only a very spiritual experience, but also lots of fun and we had some good family bonding time, it was great! The baby, for those of you who don't happen to already know, its Evan, David and Wendy's little boy.
