so pretty much today is Halloween and summer decided to paint a huge picture of a Christmas tree! who woulda thought, huh?

ok, so my mom asked me to put pictures of "our camping trip" on the blog. but i don't actually know what she was talking about cause i don't think i went on that trip. so these pictures might be from the camping trip. it looks like it was fun, i guess. can't say much about it since i wasn't there. it was a long time ago too, i don't know why whe wanted it on here.

a couple of weeks ago we went on a hike through memory grove and had a pic nic. this picture isn't very colorful but it really was when we were there.

Hyrum just got home from his mission in Seoul Korea. We all went down to Green River to hear him speak in Sacrament meeting and to join with the Mithcell's for a wonderful Sunday dinner in their yard. Hyrum did an excellent job speaking in church. What a fine young man who really is strong in his testimony and understanding of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. We love the Mitchell family. And we love being with them. It was so much fun being with them for the day. Today was a great day where the hand of the Lord was recognized more than once. Here is one of the pictures we took today after Sunday dinner:

Saturday evening with some of Bart's family.

Yesterday we had a great time with some of Bart's family. Bart's Grandmother on his mother's side invited her children and grandchildren, including Aleah, Lisa and I to go out to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse. We all met back at Bart's house for delectably delicious chocolate cake and ice cream and to visit and get to know each other. We told funny stories about each other, especially Bart, and even had discussions on identity theft, gambling and a variety of other things. We had a great time getting to know some of Bart's wonderful and fun family. This picture show those in Bart's family who were there:

We would like to thank Bart's Grandmother for a wonderful dinner and all of Bart's family for a great evening together.

Riley found a worm in the sandbox today! he decided to call it "worm." how original. he said "its not disgusting!"

look, thats me! i started playing bagpipes last year and i haven't been playing them for about a month but today i just started again! hurray! this is a picture of me just after a parade this summer. don't i look cute?

sarah's in 7th grade. she hates her braces, but aren't they cute? i think they match her glasses! she loves to socialize and play her clarinet. she's getting quite good at it.

summer just likes to look cute and play all day. She hates doing her chores! She is in third grade and her class is studying maps.

jenny got her hair cut! oh my goodness! she looks just like fanny on the movie, funny girl. we watched that movie last night. jenny is in fifth grade. the loves doing her hair but i don't know what she'll do now that its so short!

it snowed today! its way too early for snow. but its soooo pretty! we wen't outside in the storm to take pictures of the pretty flowers in the snow! aren't they pretty?

Aleah got engaged last sunday during conference to Bart Shively of south jordan. hurrayyyyyyy! they are getting married on December 27.
